Community Donors

A special thank you to the individuals, schools, and local businesses who have organised fundraising events or contributed through donations.

Sing United fundraised for us at their recent concert ‘The Sound of Freedom’. Our choir Northern Notes also got the chance to perform alongside them at Whitley Bay Playhouse. Huge thank you to all of their singers and supporters for this opportunity.

Josephine Anderson is a local florist that donates her time and expertise each Christmas with our wreath making sessions. This not only allows the people we support to learn new floristry skills, it also helps us to fundraise by offering sessions to local people.

We are seeking funders or partnership organisations for the following projects;

Northern Beats – our weekly music session with Pool of Sound is coming to an end soon due to lack of funding. The participants love getting together, learning instruments and singing along to their favourite tunes. Not only does this session help people develop new musical skills, it also makes people feel good and make new friends.

Website improvements – our website is in need of an updated building platform to improve accessibility, ensure user-friendliness, and better showcase the impact of our work.
